Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Inc. is named a top NonProfit of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.

These awards recognize Tampa Baybased 501(c)(3), nonfoundation community organizations benefiting residents of Greater Tampa Bay who are fiscally responsible and accountable with regard to program outcomes. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Inc. and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas County, Inc. share the top honor in the public societal benefit category. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay, Inc., which serves children in Hillsborough, Polk, and Pasco Counties, was one of almost 100 nonprofit organizations nominated for the 2007 Nonprofit of the Year Awards.“I could not be more pleased that the Tampa Bay Business Journal has recognized Big Brothers Big Sisters with this award.” said Stephen Koch, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. “We are in the business of helping children by providing them with a caring adult mentor.
